The first Money in the City event was held on June 25th at the Park City Club. This event, hosted by Tamara Gough of the Marketing Connection, raised $2,140 for Wednesday's Child Benefit Corporation! Our thanks go out to all of the amazing women who gave to help North Texas children in foster care!!

"It is simple things that make an impact ... that tell you there are good people in the world ... that give you joy ... and hope when you have none," Antwone Fisher, Attorneys Serving the Community Luncheon, June 5, 2009.

Simple things like glasses, birthday acknowledgements, summer camp, winter coats, shoes that fit, wheelchairs, dental work and educational assistance are among the many ways Wednesday's Child Benefit Corporation provides joy, hope and healing to young victims of neglect and abuse who end up in foster care.

Check out our online gift catalog and give a child those simple childhood needs.

1 out of every 207 North Texas children are in foster care and need your help. Please donate today.

In Mickey Rayford's junior year of high school she failed Geometry and needed to take it in the summer in order to graduate with her class the following year. Mickey could not afford the summer class and the state does not provide for such things. She was facing not being able to graduate with her class and she felt very defeated. Then Wednesday's Child Benefit Corporation stepped in to help.
